Fun Stereo Mic Techniques


 In this article, it will teach you some fun ways to use the microphone when recording. I will describe them down below

1 - The first one is a figure 8 - which is when a microphone only picks up sound from the front or back. For example, if there is 2 people singing it will only pick up their voices  from their side of the mic.

2- The second one is called a cardioid which picks up sound from all around the room. For example, if your recording a group, the microphone will pick up everyone's sound from the room.
